A few things come up often, and the answer is quicker here:
- The voice sounds robotic. Open Settings → How words are read aloud and pick Chirpy Natural. It downloads once and then runs on your device.
- The sign-in code didn’t arrive. Check spam, then send another after the countdown. Codes expire after an hour.
- My words vanished. Without an account they live only in that browser, so a cleared cache or a different device starts fresh. Signing in keeps them together.
- A definition is wrong or too grown-up. Every field on a word card is editable — tap the word, then Edit.
